Cullen Jenkins : NFL Super Bowl Champion

39-Year Old Michigan Native, and former Super Bowl Champion Cullen Jenkins discovered the virtues of cannabis after his professional football career ended in 2016. After 13 Years of professional football, Cullen dealt with chronic pain, as well as anxiety and stress without the structure of organized football.

Quoted in a recent interview from the Bleacher Report (www.thebleacherreport.com) , Jenkins admitted to constantly be fighting a war against pain.  "You feel the pain all the time, and you're constantly trying to find ways to deal with the pain," he said. Jenkins said he used to take four Advil and two Tylenol before practices and two Vicodin before games but is now pill-free in retirement and has shifted to cannabidiol after suggestions from family. In another interview with the website SPLIMM (https://splimm.com/2018/04/18/cullen-jenkins-nfl-cbd/) Jenkins talked about his recent partnership with Fresh Farms CBD (wwwfreshfarmscbd.com). He began to understand that, far from being a “dangerous drug” or crazy, mind-altering substance, cannabis could be used as a wellness product.

His perspective changed quickly. “When you’re not educated, you think of anything involved with cannabis, it gets you high,” Jenkins related. “But once you’ve learned, there are so many options out there that won’t get you high, but are helping you. This is something that’s actually a supplement.”

Jenkins found that regular CBD use helped to alleviate the pain he’d been living with for years. It’s allowed him to exercise in ways that previously wouldn’t have been possible.
